This Portable Inline Crimper for externally crimping glass or plastic bottles can turn any existing var-speed conveyor into a Fully Self-Contained Automatic Crimper. Heavy duty locking casters and an integral clamp which locks the crimping unit to the conveyor make it completely portable. Setup is simple and fast. Just set the bottle height, set the rails and height of the fiber optic sensor, adjust the conveyor speed, and it is ready to go. Crimping collets, which we manufacture, are easily changed. (20mm, 15mm, and 13mm). There are no other change parts such as timing screws or star wheels.
Most bottles are run without pucks. Pucks are necessary only if the bottle is too small for the rails to guide it, or the mouth of the bottle is off center relative to the bottle body.
